What is the CARES Act?
The CARES Act is a bill that was signed into law by President Donald J. Trump to provide rescue and recovery to the American people.
What to do if you become ill.
If you feel symptoms of COVID-19, such as fever, cough or shortness of breath, visit the website of your local hospital system for local screening information.
Filing for Unemployment
Eligibility has been expanded to boost unemployment benefits for an additional $600 per week for four months on top of the state unemployment program for qualified individuals.
Individuals may apply with the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (SCDEW) online HERE.
